Robert Yap
Executive Chairman of YCH Group
Robert Yap has more than four decades of experience in the logistics and supply chain management field.
As the Chairman of Supply Chain City®, Asia’s premier supply chain nerve centre, Robert constantly pushes the boundaries of innovation. He is the Executive Chairman of Y3 Technologies, a leading information technology and supply chain solutions company, as well as the Chairman of Supply Chain Angels, a fund dedicated to invest in supply chain related start-ups.
In his efforts to develop the talent pipeline in the supply chain industry, Robert established SCALA®, an academy to support the development of logistics and supply chain talents. Robert further contributes to the development of talents through the participation of various government-related councils, including the Council for Skills, Innovation and Productivity, the Committee on the Future Economy and the logistics sector's SkillsFuture Sectoral Tripartite Committee.
Robert is also the Chairman of Supply Chain Asia – a regional community of more than 45,000 supply chain professionals, and he is widely recognised for his thought leadership and contribution to the logistics and supply chain industry. In 2016, Robert was named ‘Businessman of the Year’ at the prestigious Singapore Business Awards. He was conferred the NUS Business School Eminent Business (Senior) Alumni Award in 2014 and the Lifetime Achievement Award (Logistics) by the World Chinese Economic Forum in 2013. He also received the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year award in 2007 and the Asia Logistics Hall of Fame award in 2003.
Robert is currently President of Singapore National Employers Federation, 2018 Chairman of the ASEAN Business Advisory Council and Singapore Chairman of the Malaysia–Singapore Business Council. Robert also contributes to various government-related councils which include being a part of the Advisory Council on Community Relations in Defence – Employers & Business, as well as an industry advisor to the Joint Implementation Committee established by the Singapore and Chongqing government which oversees the third Government-to-Government project in Chongqing.

Catherine Yap
Executive Director - CEO Office, Corporate Services
- Oversees corporate services. Leads Procurement, Insurance, Facility Management and Corporate Audit, including compliance in multi-country regulatory environments
- Drives strategic focus and finance planning to achieve YCH’s long-term business goals
- Graduated from the London School of Accountancy and is a Fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants (UK), with diverse experience in finance, taxation, risk management and audit
- Multi-dimensional business management and financial management experience in the logistics industry, with in-depth experience with internationalization and growth management
Roger Yap
Vice President, China
- Oversees business performance of YCH in China
- In-depth experience in supply chain management and solutions execution, including setting up green field operations in APAC, across electronics, consumer and chemical / healthcare industries.
- Graduated in the pioneer batch of the Future China Advanced Leaders Programme from Nanyang Technological University Business School
- Member of professionally accredited associations such as Institute of Shipping Management.
Michael Leong
Vice President, Sales, Key Account Management
- Drives and directs business development across Asia Pacific with MNCs, forging long-term regional partnerships through innovative supply chain solutions
- Formerly held senior management roles and board directorship in express, logistics and packaging industries
- Broad business experience across the West and the East, with expat assignments in UK, Netherlands and China, as well as regional responsibilities across Asia Pacific.
- Graduated with Bachelor (Hons) in Commerce from Memorial University of Newfoundland (Canada), and attended the Senior Executive Management Program in INSEAD and Advanced Logistics Program in Cranfield School of Management (UK)
Cecilia Ng
Head, Group Human Resources
- Strategic role in human resources management with a focus on directing and driving human capital plans, talent management and employee engagement programs
- Oversees the Group's Learning & Development function
- Has close to 20 years of progressive HR operations and leadership experience across various industries including medical technology, semiconductor manufacturing, information technology, and industrial estate management
- Graduated from the University of Bradford, United Kingdom with a Bachelor of Science in Business & Management Studies
- She later obtained her Masters of Science in Industrial Organizational Psychology & Management of Human Resources with City University of New York
