GTG Chairman Mr Yang Jiansui said "To meet Guangzhous increasing demand for leading-edge logistics solutions, we needed to team up with a partner that could demonstrate detailed know-how in enhancing the sustainability of our city to serve our growing population and their consumption needs. As the largest city in Southern China, and a strategic location in the heart of the planned "Pearl River Delta Mega City" with an estimated 40 million population, Guangzhou has always been a key national transportation hub and trading port for China. Teeming with global and local manufacturers, with almost half of all Fortune 500 companies having already launched their investments in Guangzhou, opportunities for consumption-driven logistics and value-added services are tremendous in the pulsating city that has been defined as a key commercial and manufacturing hub for the worlds most populous country.

Dr Robert Yap, Chairman & CEO of YCH Group said "As China continues to grow exponentially in terms of population and consumer affluence, robust transportation and distribution networks supported by innovative SCM solutions are imperative for the growth of sustainable cities. We are delighted to be able to partner the highly respected state-owned GTG which provides us a brilliant avenue to enhance our platform to achieve an expedited and deeper presence into the Southern China region through this collaboration in Guangzhou. Resonating with our distinct Asia strategy, YCH takes pride in being able to deliver the intrinsic value of true network and connectivity to our MNC customers with our firmly-established Pan-China network as they expand in this region and beyond."

Mr Yew Sung Pei, Assistant CEO of International Enterprise (IE) Singapore said, "It is important for Singapore companies operating in China to have the right key contacts. IE Singapore is pleased to have successfully facilitated this partnership between YCH and Guangzhou Transportation Group. The local transport authority found a great partner in YCH, who will help improve the Groups overall logistic efficiency, integrate their cold chain services and meet the rising needs of consumers in Guangzhou."
